Love... Are you sure??

Love is extremely complex. đŸ˜©

We sometimes take how we are currently feeling and “project” those emotions on our partners and/or allow those feelings to affect why we make decisions. Bear in mind that the decisions we make don’t always pertain, whatsoever, to the origins of those feelings. Origins: Why do you have those emotions? What in your history is causing you to react this way? How much do you know about your own emotions? Are they healthy emotions or are you fighting to win?

Note: no one in a relationship should win individually, but rather the couple should win. In your relationship, are decisions made where you BOTH win?

“A person’s reality is constantly in a state of flux.” (Anonymous quote)

Loneliness is hard. Sometimes we just want a warm body, despite not being compatible (by the way, compatibility CAN change if you want it to and you can adapt to a different life IF it is good for you)...

“Sometimes we just want someone in our lives, even if it isn’t the right fit.” (Anonymous quote)

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

That biblical passage will help you to understand if you really love someone or if you love the idea of them. Can you truly say you are loving your partner through scripture definition or through your own lenses of what it “could be”. Do you beleive this? Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7

I’m asking you AND I’m asking myself. Have a blessed week!
